About me. William Reavell

I have been working as Food Photographer in London for over twenty years. I live in rural Kent with my family and have had the privilige to work with some amazing food stylists, chefs and major food clients. For my current portfolio please go here. My weekend courses are run at my home studio in Kent at the central London Studios I work in. I also run shorter sessions and One to One training at your home or workplace and at my home studio in Kent.

In 2014 I started these courses on food photography. Ideal for those working in the food industry, food writers, bloggers and aspiring Photographers. It started when a food blogger/writer approached me for tutoring to help improve her photography. She recognized that good food photographs showcasing her recipes and food ideas are essential for a successful food based website. She  needed help using her camera. I found that I loved the ability to help and teach others something of my craft.

Contact me by email or phone for bookings and enquiries.

I also teach at Leiths School of Food and Wine running courses in Food Photography, thoroughly enjoyable and full days in learning to photograph food. Please visit their website if you are interested in joining me on their next course.

I joined William's class (Food Photography Level 1)last Saturday and I absolutely loved it! I am a beginner and knew very little on how to take great photos before joining the class. By the end of the day, my self-confidence grew significantly. William will teach you how to use your camera, styling your food and lighting and so much more! William is a fantastic teacher who is incredibly patient and gives each of his students his full attention. He is funny and puts you at ease. I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money!
